A new client who was referred by a friend brought her 2019 Mazda CX-5 to us to see about getting a remote start system installed in it. She wanted to be able to start the vehicle from a good distance away, but wasn’t sure if it could be done to her push-to-start car. Our team works on a huge number of push-to-start vehicles with remote start systems, so we jumped at the chance to get one installed for her.
We selected a Compustar RF2WR3-FM remote starter that gives her two-way control and feedback on the vehicle status, with plenty of range to start it from inside her home or workplace. The vehicle’s push-to-start ignition system still works the same way, and all the factory security and theft prevention systems remain intact and functional. Unless you noticed her remote control, you’d never know anything was ever done to the vehicle.
