Two-Way with Extra Range for 2013 Mercedes E550

A client came to Perfectionist Auto Sound and Security with his 2013 Mercedes E550. He was looking for a two-way remote start with about a half-mile of range. Two-way means he will be notified when the vehicle is started, locked or unlocked through an LED light, audible tone or through an LCD screen. He decided on the RF-2WG9 because it is a simple two-way with 3,000 feet of range. After he decided which unit he would like, we performed our install.

We start every install with a check-in using an iPad, which includes taking photos of the exterior, checking the functions of the vehicle and performing a battery test. Then we put a battery charger on the vehicle with a fender cover to protect the vehicle’s paint. Our tech then preps the install by soldering every connection, protecting each connection with electrical tape and using Tesa tape to clean up the install. After the install, our tech vacuums the vehicle and then another tech checks out the vehicle. Our sales team teaches our client how to use the new remote and provides any additional information the client needs to know.

Two-Way Remote Starter with Long Range on Hyundai Santa Fe

The customer purchased a two-way remote starter system and also decided to upgrade the system for better range and the confidence of knowing when their vehicle has started. Remote Start with Two-Way Communication in ’16 Sorento

We recently installed a two-way remote start on a 2016 Kia Sorento – a CM800 unit with an add-on RF-2WG9 two-way confirmation remote kit. This unit combination gives two-way communication remote starting capabilities with up to a half-mile of range. The two-way remote notifies you with an LED light and an audible tone.

For this installation (and all vehicles we work on), we used a battery charger on the vehicle with fender covers to protect the vehicle’s paint.

We use iPads for our check-in/check-out process. We check all functions of the vehicle and make notes if something is not functioning properly, if a light is out and so on. We also take pictures of the exterior of the vehicle. We do this before our installation for a visual history of the inspection. We also have a separate installer check the work and the vehicle after we complete the install. This is all part of our commitment to quality service.
