Stay Safe with a Bluetooth Hands-Free Device

08/03/2018 By John Schwartz

Talk Safely: Hands-Free Bluetooth Devices Can Save Lives and Money!

There are some simple facts when it comes to driving on the road – and there’s no denying that good fundamentals are vital to safety.

Bluetooth Hands-Free Device

Keeping both hands on the wheel with your eyes firmly planted on the road is the best way to stay safe from A to B. But the mobile age has presented a device that some find too alluring to put down, even if they’re piloting tons of steel at 60 miles per hour.

This danger is so pressing that laws have even been passed to mitigate it. And regardless of how you feel regarding personal behaviors being regulated, violators are staring at a $2750 fine – ouch!

If you or someone you know has a bad habit of giving their phone more attention than the road while behind the wheel, consider a hands-free device.

Why the Hands-Free Bluetooth Device Can Save Lives

We have to admit it – the mobile device is a great tool to have on you even while in the car. It’s those who let their eyes and hands drift down to it while their foot remains on the accelerator that pose a problem.Bluetooth Hands-Free Device

Hands-free headsets allow individuals to drive with proper form – hands on the wheel, eyes on the road, and mind on the task at hand. Sure, they’ll still be talking. But that’s no different than singing along to music or having a chat with a passenger.

With cellphone-related vehicle deaths in the fatal category steadily creeping upward for years, it’s easy to see why the hands-free device can help everyone on the road stay a little safer.

Bluetooth Hands-Free Device

And even if a distracted driver doesn’t end up killing anyone in an accident, they can still do a lot of harm. Hands-free devices are also great for helping avoid this, which in turn can help people avoid trouble and regret. And let’s not forget about that near-three-grand fine looming around every corner. Don’t let a conversation cost you that kind of money.

For drivers of all ages and skill levels, staying focused on the road is the best way to stay safe. A hands-free device can be the best way to do that. However, these units are great for companies as well.

Great for Passenger and Commercial Vehicles Alike

Whether it’s a delivery driver or a home repair company, good driving habits can help professionals reach their destination safely.

Bluetooth Hands-Free Device

This is why the professionals at Perfectionist Auto Sound install these devices in commercial vehicles as well. There’s a wide selection and something for everyone. No matter the type of vehicle you have, you can enjoy safe travels, avoid tickets, and handle your important conversations safely.

If you’ve ever swerved, drifted, or had to slam on the brakes because your phone got the better of your concentration, don’t risk it again.

Obey the law, respect the dangers of the road, and enjoy your mobile with the safety of a hands-free device.

Motorhome Upgrade

06/23/2018 By John Schwartz

Motorhome Upgrade

Pioneer Radio Upgrade in a Motorhome!

One of our client’s came in recently looking to upgrade their motorhome. They were wanting to add hands-free capabilities for phone calls, and audio. We introduced a few Pioneer options. They decided on the Pioneer DEH-6000BS. The Pioneer unit has a USB, AUX, Bluetooth, CD, and AM/FM. The DEH-6000bs t is a single din head unit so it allowed for a storage pocket to go underneath the radio.

What is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is a communication method used to allow compatible devices to connect together without the need for wires. The compatible devices can share data, audio, video, controls and many other things depending on what kind of device profile is supported. Profiles are how your smartphone knows to share caller ID or the phone’s contacts with the vehicle’s in-dash screen. Or how the steering wheel play/pause buttons operate your smartphone’s audio playback when streaming content. All of it connects without wires.

Bluetooth and Driver Safety

Upgrading their motorhome with Bluetooth is not only convenient for the driver but it increases the drivers safety. For example, if you are driving and receive a phone call while connected via Bluetooth then the phone call will remain hands free.

2013 Volkswagen Jetta App Radio 4

Our customer came in looking for the new Pioneer App Radio 4 to be installed in a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. We familiarized our client with the different functions and perks of the App Radio 4. We then looked up the required parts, such as the dash kit, module and antenna adapter. We agreed on a spot to mount the USB and scheduled an appointment for our client. Less than a week later, we performed our install.

As with every install we do, we started with a vehicle check-in using an iPad, which includes taking photos of the exterior, checking the functions of the vehicle and performing a battery test. We then put a battery charger on the vehicle with a fender cover to protect the vehicle’s paint from any scratches. Our tech prepped the install by soldering every connection, electrical-taping each connection and using Tesa tape to clean up the install.

After the install, again as is our routine, our technician vacuumed the vehicle and wiped down the dash, and then another tech checked out the vehicle. We delivered the vehicle and our sales team taught our client how to use the new App Radio.

When you are ready to upgrade your radio, or need more information, come on in or give us a call. You can Contact Us Here.
