Great-looking Five-button Remote

Of course, any remote start or security system starts with the remote control. That is the part of the system that you interact with the most every day. The RF-2W902 has two oversized buttons for the Lock and Unlock feature, making it easy to find these buttons in the dark or if you are operating them with gloves on. Down the side of the remote, a function button gives you additional programming and operation options, a trunk release and the remote start button. The unit comes with a four-button second remote and an antenna.

Compustar RF-2W902 Has Up to 3,000 Feet of Range

The question we are asked most often is about range. With its Superheterodyne Plus Technology, this unit can start your vehicle from up to 3,000 feet away. This gives you the option to get your vehicle started and warming up if your office is far away from the parking lot or to give your vehicle that much more time to run before you arrive.

Two-way–start Confirmation

Most entry-level remotes are one way and will not give you confirmation that your vehicle has started. The RF-2W902 is a two-way and the blue LED on the remote will receive a confirmation back that your vehicle has indeed started and is warming up. No surprises or arriving at a cold vehicle that failed to start.

Tons of Flexibility for Your Vehicle

Do you drive a diesel that has to activate a glow plug? Maybe you have a manual transmission or a push-to-start vehicle. No problem: The RF-W902 will work with all of these. You can even connect an auxiliary output to activate your heated seats or rear window defroster.

Up to 1,000-foot Range

The CS-800 comes with two four-button remote transmitters that can give you up to 1,000 feet of range for the remote start feature. That is well over three football fields in length, giving you plenty of time to get your vehicle warmed up, or cooled off, before you enter it. The remote gives you keyless entry and can be wired for trunk release as well. You can also have a siren or horn for “panic” mode for extra security as you approach your vehicle.

Works For Most Cars

The CS-800 will work with most cars. With a bypass module, it will easily connect to new vehicles that require a coded key to start the vehicle. It will connect to a diesel and will even give a diesel extra time for the glow plug to warm up before starting. (It will not work with a manual transmission vehicle, but we have other options for that.)

How It Works

Clients who have never owned a remote start system often ask us about having a vehicle running when they are not right there. If you are in range, the CS-800 will flash the parking lights once to confirm that the vehicle is ready to start. If you are in line of sight, you will see the parking lights stay on to confirm that your vehicle is started and warming up. We can set it to run for 3, 15, 25 or 45 minutes before it turns off. Your vehicle can’t be put into drive without the key being inserted, so it is safe from a thief who may just happen by while it is running.
