Product Spotlight: Compustar CS-800 Remote Start System

10/20/2016 By John Schwartz

Compustar CS-800Here at Perfectionist Auto Sound and Security, we are always searching for the best products for the investment for our clients. There is no better value for a one-way remote start and keyless entry system than the Compustar CS-800. If you need a straightforward system for an automatic transmission car, either gas or diesel, this is it.

Up to 1,000-foot Range

Compustar CS-800The CS-800 comes with two four-button remote transmitters that can give you up to 1,000 feet of range for the remote start feature. That is well over three football fields in length, giving you plenty of time to get your vehicle warmed up, or cooled off, before you enter it. The remote gives you keyless entry and can be wired for trunk release as well. You can also have a siren or horn for “panic” mode for extra security as you approach your vehicle.

Works For Most Cars

The CS-800 will work with most cars. With a bypass module, it will easily connect to new vehicles that require a coded key to start the vehicle. It will connect to a diesel and will even give a diesel extra time for the glow plug to warm up before starting. (It will not work with a manual transmission vehicle, but we have other options for that.)

How It Works

Compustar CS-800Clients who have never owned a remote start system often ask us about having a vehicle running when they are not right there. If you are in range, the CS-800 will flash the parking lights once to confirm that the vehicle is ready to start. If you are in line of sight, you will see the parking lights stay on to confirm that your vehicle is started and warming up. We can set it to run for 3, 15, 25 or 45 minutes before it turns off. Your vehicle can’t be put into drive without the key being inserted, so it is safe from a thief who may just happen by while it is running.

Come on by Perfectionist Auto Sound and Security and let our sales and installation experts see if the Compustar CS-800 is a good option for your vehicle, or click here for more information.
