Why We Sell Compustar Products

10/12/2015 By John Schwartz

Compustar Products

If you spend any time at Perfectionist Auto Sound & Security, you are bound to see many Compustar products in our store. We display them prominently and feature the whole product line. What many people don’t know is the history behind Compustar and Perfectionist. Follow along for a great read!

Compustar History

Compustar ProductsCompustar traces its roots back to 1998. The company got started in Alaska. In Anchorage. In fact, right here in our store, Perfectionist Auto Sound & Security. Pretty cool, huh? The owner of Compustar, Jason Lee, used to own Perfectionist, and he loved the remote start category. He is a brilliant entrepreneur and decided to start his own remote start company and call it Compustar. He hired two employees, and one of them was John Schwartz, our current owner of Perfectionist. As you can see, you could say that we have grown up with Compustar. We have been with them every step of the way.

In the early years, all of Compustar’s testing was done in Anchorage, since the business was based here. When Compustar moved to Washington state, they asked us to continue to do beta testing of new products for them, and we were honored to do so.

Compustar is the most innovative and resourceful company in the remote start and security category, and is still privately owned by Jason. They have won the top vendor award from Mobile Electronics magazine in the remote start and security category for two years in a row, which is extremely rare.

By Installers For Installers

Compustar’s products have always been designed by installers for installers. What exactly does this mean for you? It means the product is going to install better in your vehicle, and have more features and flexibility, giving us plenty of opportunities to tailor the product to your unique needs.

Industry-Leading Remote Range

Compustar ProductsCompustar leads the industry in long-range remotes. They have the longest-range one-way remote controls, and the longest-range two-way systems. With the release of the new T11 system, their products now have more than three times more range than their competitors, to the tune of 3 miles. We have personally tested the T11 system outside Anchorage and have witnessed more than 4 miles of range! It is pretty incredible when you need two guys on cell phones to confirm range.

As we said, Compustar products were developed in Alaska and the new products are still tested here. What that means to you is a product designed to handle rough, cold winters and work reliably for years to come.

Drone Mobile Smartphone Interface

Compustar ProductsThe Drone system is a class-leading smartphone-based interface for your vehicle. It can be used for standalone location and tracking for your personal vehicle, or for a whole fleet of vehicles. It can also be added to any Compustar remote start or security system, giving you unlimited range and convenience by harnessing the power of the Internet and your smartphone.

DASH In-Car Video Recorders

Compustar ProductsAs usual, when Compustar ventures into a new category, they do it with style and precision. The company’s Dash DVR system for vehicles combines a front and rear camera, along with GPS technology to record all that happens around your vehicle. This includes when it is sitting or when you are driving up the road. Ask us for a demo of this great new product.

As you can see, Compustar makes a great product, and Perfectionist Auto Sound & Security is proud of the history between our two companies. We invite you to stop by our store and see their class leading product. While you are here, ask us for a tour of our facility. Let us show you why Mobile Electronics magazine has named us the Top Mobile Electronics Retailer in the USA two different times. We’re one of only three companies in the history of the award have won it multiple times.
